Surface Reconstruction from Video |
3D reconstruction from video has been done only for points and straight lines. We will try to extend it to surfaces through use of 3D Implicit Polynomial surface models in the 3D reconstruction. The approach will be based on our 3D surface reconstruction from stereo work. We will use both reconstruction based on surface albedo variation and on occluding contours. Because the range of angles at which the camera looks at an object is apt to be small, only a small portion of an object surface will be reconstructed.
