Box data - Complete set

Input

Input

Complete set: 7326 pts.

Recovered Surface

The "surface scaffold" (i.e., the less significant part of the shock scaffold) gives us back a meshing of the input data. Thus, we can re-build connectivity on the input samples automatically.

Surface Mesh (2 views): in green: polygons for special shock curves collapsing with shock vertices - correspond to ridges.

Wireframe.

Hidden lines.

Recovered "Internal" Medial Axis description

Internal MA (4 views)

Distance to sources color-coded: Blue is close, Red is far.

Sources shown as white dots.

Hidden lines: each loop in the mesh is a shock sheet patch.

Shock curves: "Axial" A_1^3's shown in Pink, "Ridge" A_3's shown in Blue.
