• Amenta et al. : 2 Passes algorithm
  • 1st : build an initial topology via the Delaunay tesselation
  • 2nd : Extract certain Voronoi nodes
  • 3rd : re-compute a new tesselation using these additional nodes.

 Alternative : Additional structure in the Shock Scaffold

• The Initial shocks for sheets and curves provide directly the additional constraint necessary to rebuild a surface topology.
