We have developed a unique blend of knowledge and tools in the recent past that puts us at the forefront of those developing new technologies for reverse engineering and freeform shape modeling. Furthermore, we are now entering a phase where the new algorithms we are developing permit to tackle applications fruitful for the automotive industry. The time is right to start collaborating with industrial partners to better converge to effective practical solutions and to foster new research and development in areas of great importance to the American automotive industry. We will call, for the time being, the proposed system (or toolbox) we have in mind, GENESIS , to emphasize that it is:
