Abstract

The Shape Lab went for a data collection campaign in Jordan last summer on the archeological site of the Great Temple of Petra. I will present shortly the many sources of data we obtained, how to get them in the lab, and describe some of the first results we attained with them.

In a second part, I will present a new yet simple way of describing the perspective projection and describe its properties and interests for 3D shape and motion analysis, 2D/3D and motion segmentation, from correspondence-based and image-based video data.
